Kirchberghaeuschen in Bensheim

Only pick-up possible and alcohol is prohibited on the whole mountain! Still worth a trip.

Nice place to take a hike, but you should note that there is a steep gradient here. Good tavern for a quick snack or a drink.

good view towards Mannheim and the Palatinate. Good restaurant. Here you can have a nightcap after a hike and enjoy the sunset.

Wonderful excursion location. Nice beer garden. Great food and snacks. Very nice staff. The cherry house is always my highlight on a hike.

We were there on Saturday afternoons. You could buy various drinks and small dishes as take away. The staff was super friendly. The idea was great that you could rent a bank to enjoy the view. It was really great.

Very nicely located. Wonderful view. Eating and drinking "to go" at the moment. One star is deducted because the cappuccino did not taste good. Very watery.

From the bottom, the object looks bigger. But beautiful views. It was worth going there. It is a pity that the grapes have already been harvested, because the photos would be even more colorful.

Nice place, can be crowded at peak times. The range of food and drinks is appropriate and good. Even during the current pandemic, the hygiene rules are working quite well. The staff are very friendly! Nice place to stay and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine.

Good partly seasonal selection of small dishes and drinks. Friendly and cheerful staff, clean toilets and an exemplary corona concept. Great view from the outside terrace. Highly Recommended.

The Kirchberghäuschen in Bensheim is always worth a visit. When the weather is clear, you have a wonderful view from the mountain road over the Rhine plain to Alsace. The waitresses are all friendly, very attentive and they disinfect the tables very conscientiously before a guest sits down. The menu is good and the price is not overpriced. It is also nice that the Kirchberghäuschen can only be reached on foot.

Individual guests are not given a seat. Should be on the barrel. Unfortunately, I know that differently here. The view is still great and can then be enjoyed without sales for the Kirchberghäuschen. There's also something to eat downstairs in beautiful Bensheim.

Always beautiful. Above Bensheim with a view of Bensheim / Heppenheim, the Starkenburg and the Odenwald. A special kind of excursion destination with cooked cheese and Riesling on tap. Very nice and attentive service.

Great view, nice employees, good corona hygiene concept, as well as delicious food and drinks. The path through the vineyards is very beautiful, but it goes uphill. By the way, you can't get up to the top by car. So nothing for those suffering from movement sicknesses ... ;-)

Very attentive and very nice staff, who try to conjure up a nice atmosphere even under the toughest corona conditions. Beautiful views under huge old trees. The dishes all looked very good.

The view is really unique. The schnitzel was unfortunately dry and overcooked, the fries too dark, hand cheese was tasty but overpriced. Drinks are ok. Better not eat anything and enjoy the view. A beautiful place.

It takes a bit of hiking uphill but it is rewarded with drinks and a great view.

Awesome place to be! Panoramic view, local specialities, cosy and beautiful! Enjoy the local vine, ‘Kochkäseschnitzel’ or ‘Wildschweinbratwurst’ A total sensation! You will have to walk the hill by foot and earn the superior location reward :-)

Friendly, cook even tried to talk Dutch. Very nice nice view. Self service is a small minus and the food isn't as great as 2 years back. Still a goode meal for that nice view!

The view was excellent, been here twice within 1 week. Food was great, serve good Riesling as well.
